ABOUT FMS

Forensic Mortuary Services, LLC coordinates private autopsy and postmortem testing services for families, attorneys, funeral homes, coroners, and other authorized professionals.

Services may include full or limited private autopsy, neuropathology coordination, tissue histology, postmortem toxicology, DNA banking, postmortem genetic testing, medical-record and autopsy review, and expert consultation. Services involving independent laboratories or specialists are identified as outsourced and are subject to case acceptance, specimen requirements, and separate fees.

FMS accepts inquiries involving cases from other states. Availability depends on jurisdiction, facility access, transportation, and the participation of appropriately licensed professionals.
